Sunflower Tildas

Hello girls!!

Here are my newest creations:
I absolutely love sunflower tilda, and I hope you do to! If you are looking for a place to purchase her, here are three locations that I know about! The first is directly from Magnolia - (click on magnolia for the link), the second is Magnolia-licious website in the US, and the third is a new shop in Canada, called Little Stamp Shoppe.

Both images were colored with copic markers and prismacolor pencils. I would love to blog some more, but my bed is calling!

Have a great day!!

Swinging thanks

I don't have all the details on my card, but if you have any questions, be sure to ask. I am doing this so I get my cards posted and also because I am so short on time right now.
I will let you know that this image was colored with copics, and the girl and swing are wonderful magnolia stamps.
Hope you have a great day

I emailed this card to my Mom earlier this week to show her and see if she likes it, and she emailed back and said "This card is for me, right Trina??". So I am pretty sure that this card will be going to her....nice thing about giving her a card, is she always gives me an amazing one right back!! It's so fun to have family that is into cardmaking too!!
The stamps used on this card are mostly from Magnolia. The ticket stamps are from Autumn leaves.

I made this card for my Mom for Mother's Day this year. I fell in love with the image from Magnolia, so I had to use her, and that paper just matched so well. I tried to make my first ribbon blossom on this card, and a word to the wise....make sure you leave the ribbon pieces long enough...cause I sure had to fight to tie the ribbons!!
Have a great day!

My new calendar

I love my new magnolia calendar for my desk at my office. It was so fun to make!!
I used Beate's wonderful tutorial on splitcoast stampers. Click here for the link for the instructions.

Stamps: Magnolia
Papers: MME wild asparagus designer paper, SU Blush blossom and chocolate chip.
Inks: Versafine black ink, prismacolor pencils and OMS
Accessories: Ribbon from dollarama (awesome deal - 5 different ribbons, each 1 meter in length for just $1.00) - after doing this calendar, I went and bought a bunch more ribbon, cause at just a buck, you can't lose!!, bind-it-all binding, brads, prima flowers, 3 little clear heart jewels.

My local scrapbook store had a scrapbooking night on Friday, that I was lucky enough to go to. I met some awesome ladies, and had a blast. We started scrapbooking at 6:30pm, I didn't leave till 1:00am, and some of the ladies were still going strong!! What fun we had, also they offered us shopping at 20% off, gotta love a deal!!

Birthday Tilda

I got some gorgeous flowers a couple of weeks ago from Scrappin' Great Deals, so I had to be sure to use them. If you are looking for a place to buy accessories from in Canada, including the much sought after Nestabilities....don't look any further! Her service is great, and if something is out of stock, when it comes in, she sends it out with free shipping!

If you are looking for a source for the Magnolia stamps, I get mine from The Town Scrapper. Her email address is townscrapper@sympatico.ca , she is a great person to work with, and has given me some good deals!

I got some awesome mail yesterday! My Magnolia stamp club arived straight from the magnolia site. I am mounting the stamps on easy mount as we speak, and hopefully will be working on some cards soon!! Yay...I am so excited!!

Christmas with Magnolia

This card is made with another fabulous Magnolia image. I just love all magnolia images, they are absolutely the best. I used alot of ink for distressing, and I got the snowflake from my LSS and the smaller snowflake is a punch from Martha Stewart.
This card was made with 3 different Magnolia stamps, the tilda, the bench and the holly. Aren't they awesome. I colored them using my copics and prismas. Thanks for the hints Mom!! I was having trouble with my copics, and she suggested sometimes that I could go over them with my prismas...and it works great!!

Well, I have to get off to work, I will talk to you all soon.

Birthday ATC

I made this ATC for the Tilda and Friends ATC Challenge in March 2008. You really should go and take a look at the great new challenge blog!! The challenge this week was to use pink. Do you think I used enough pink??
Here are the details on my new ATC....

Paper: Basill cardstock, K&Company designer mat pad, georgia pacific cardstock
Ink: stazon black, SU chocolate chip
Accessories: may arts ribbon, dollarama baubles, prima flowers
Techniques: paper tearing, paper piercing
I used Prismacolor pencils and OMS for coloring, and then did a bit of highlighting with twinkling H2O's.

Special Days Calendar

What I decided to do for the challenge is a special day calendar. My problem is that life goes so fast, that I don't even think about the events that are coming up, until they are here. Then I either run around like a chicken with my head cut off, or I go and buy a store bought card.
I'm hoping that with this new book, that I will list everyone's birthdays and anniversaries, and then will check it at the beginning of the month, so I know who to make cards for!
Here's a close up of one of the images that I've colored for my book. They are supposed to show that my book is for weddings/anniversary's and birthdays.
The notebook is from target. I covered it with cardstock and designer paper from Stamping Up!'s Simply Scrappin' Friends & Flowers kit. This kit is now retired, and I am so excited to finally use some of it!!
The stamps are from Magnolia and are colored with prismacolor pencils and OMS. I used my cricut to cut out the letters, and a SU punch to punch out the tabs. The lettering on the tabs are stamps from paper salon.
This booklet is very flat and there are not alot of embellishments on it because I don't want them to fall off, and I want to have this book for a long time.
All of the flowers are from the same Stampin' Up! Scrappin' kit.
I found this book so much fun and so easy to do. I hope you all will try something this week too!

Happy Birthday Mom

I've wanted to post this card for a while now, but I had to wait until my Mom received her card...cause as I'm sure you already know, Mom is one of my most faithful blog commenters!!
That would have royally ruined the surprise, don't you think!!
I have never made a tag on a card...thought I would try something different, and I kind of like how this turned out!!
